CRISP CLEAN HOME – TERMS OF SERVICE
THESE TERMS ARE IMPORTANT AND AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. PLEASE READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENGAGING CRISP CLEAN HOME. THESE TERMS INCLUDE A BINDING ARBITRATION CLAUSE.

Section 1 – Introduction & Consent to Terms
Welcome to Crisp Clean Home (“Crisp Clean Home,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), and thank you for choosing us for your residential cleaning needs.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement (“Agreement”) between Crisp Clean Home and you, the client (“you” or “Client”).
By booking or using our cleaning services (“Services”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Section 2 – Exploring Our Services & Initial Consultation
If you believe Crisp Clean Home may be a good fit for your cleaning needs, you may request a quote. All quotes provided are estimates only, based on the information available at the time.
If the actual job scope is greater than originally disclosed, or if conditions have changed, additional charges may apply.
We will notify you in writing before proceeding with any additional work, and you must approve the adjustment before we continue. All changes will be reflected on your final invoice.
Section 3 – Performance of Services
Scope of Work
Crisp Clean Home agrees to perform only the Services listed on your approved quote. It is your responsibility to confirm that all desired tasks are included.
Who Performs the Work
Services may be completed by one or more of our employees, contractors, or agents. When you hire Crisp Clean Home, you are hiring our company, not individual cleaners. Cleaner assignments may change without notice.
Requests for specific cleaners will be honored when possible, but availability is not guaranteed.
Scheduling
Arrival times are approximate and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, previous jobs, emergencies, or other factors outside our control. We will notify you of delays as soon as reasonably possible.
Access to Property
You agree to provide safe and unobstructed access to the property at the scheduled time.
If we cannot gain access (locked door, gate, alarm, etc.), you will be responsible for the missed appointment fee.
Client Presence
You are welcome—but not required—to be present during service
If you are not home upon completion of the cleaning, the work will be deemed completed and accepted upon our departure.
Compliance
Crisp Clean Home will comply with all applicable laws and regulations in performing Services.
Section 4 – Terms of Purchase
Quotes are free and valid for 30 days.
We offer:
Flat-Fee Services
A fixed price based on job scope, estimated labor, difficulty level, number of cleaners, and other relevant factors.
If job conditions differ from expectations, pricing may be adjusted with your approval.
Hourly Services
Billed in 15-minute increments at the hourly rate listed in your quote.
Recurring Cleaning Plans
Available weekly, biweekly, or monthly.
Recurring plans auto-renew automatically and continue until canceled in accordance with these Terms.
Pricing for recurring services may vary from one-time services.
Section 5 – Deposit
Certain services may require an upfront Deposit to secure an appointment.
Your appointment is not reserved until the deposit is received.
Deposits are non-refundable and will be applied to your final invoice unless otherwise stated in writing.
Section 6 – Payment, Billing & Other Terms

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars.
Pricing Adjustments
We may modify pricing or Services with 30 days’ written notice.
Payment Authorization
By supplying payment information, you certify it is accurate and that you authorize Crisp Clean Home (or its payment processor) to charge it for the Services provided.
Failed Payments
If your payment method fails, you agree to pay a $50 administrative fee for additional outreach and processing.
Recurring Billing
If enrolled in a recurring plan, you authorize automatic recurring payments until you cancel in accordance with these Terms.
Invoice Terms
Invoices are due within 48 hours of issuance.
Unpaid balances accrue interest at 3% per month.
Accounts 30+ days overdue may be sent to collections. You are responsible for all resulting costs, including attorney fees.
Section 7 – Chargebacks
Chargebacks are strictly prohibited.
Any chargeback—successful or unsuccessful—will result in $5,000 in liquidated damages, representing administrative costs, lost time, and business impact.
Section 8 – Warranties of Services Performed
Crisp Clean Home warrants that:
* Services will be completed in a professional, workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards.
* We maintain standard liability insurance for issues arising directly from our work.
Section 9 – Cancellation, Refunds & Satisfaction Guarantee
Cancellation Policy
Changes or cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice.
Cancellations within less than 24 hours result in forfeiture of your deposit.

Refund Policy
All payments are non-refundable.
Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are dissatisfied with any part of your cleaning:
* You must notify us in writing within 48 hours.
* We will return to re-clean the affected areas at no additional cost.
* If you do not request a re-clean within 48 hours, the work is deemed satisfactory.
Section 10 – Workplace Protections
For safety and insurance reasons, we do not perform:
* Cleaning above a 3-step ladder
* Biohazard cleanup (blood, bodily fluids, animal waste, etc.)
* Cleaning in insect-infested environments
* Mold, mildew, or toxin remediation
* Any work that poses an unsafe or unacceptable risk to staff
Section 11 – Limitations of Engagement
Pets
You are responsible for securing pets and ensuring a safe environment.
We are not liable for pet-related incidents unless caused by our gross negligence.
Personal Property
You must notify us of:
* Delicate items
* High-value items
* Specialty finishes
* Items with known instability
We are not liable for damage resulting from normal cleaning of items not disclosed as delicate or sensitive.
Fixtures & Décor
We are not responsible for items that fall, break, or malfunction during normal cleaning due to:
* Pre-existing damage
* Weak mounting
* Structural instability
* Improper installation
Section 12 – Reviews & Required Cure Period
If you are satisfied with our Services, positive reviews are appreciated.
If you are dissatisfied:
Cure Requirement
You agree not to post negative or publicly damaging reviews without first allowing a 72-hour cure period for us to resolve the issue.
False Public Statements
Knowingly false or misleading statements may render you liable for damages, including attorney fees.
Liquidated Damages
Posting a negative review without allowing the required cure period constitutes a breach of these Terms and triggers $10,000 in liquidated damages, reflecting business and reputational harm.
If you are unavailable during the cure period, the timeframe pauses until you are available.
Section 13 – No Solicitation of Workers
You agree not to hire or solicit Crisp Clean Home cleaners for private work outside our company.
Each violation results in $1,000 in liquidated damages, plus any other applicable remedies.
Section 14 – Photographs for Promotional Purposes
By using our Services, you grant Crisp Clean Home permission to:
* Take before/after photos
* Use them for marketing and promotional purposes
No compensation or royalties will be owed.
Section 15 – Crisp Clean Home Intellectual Property
All logos, website content, designs, written materials, and media are the property of Crisp Clean Home.
You may not copy, distribute, reproduce, or use them without written authorization.
Section 16 – Disclaimer
Services are provided “AS IS.”
We disclaim all warranties except those expressly stated in these Terms.
We are not liable for:
* Losses
* Damages
* Injuries
* Business disruptions
* Claims resulting from use of our Services
Section 17 – Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
* Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
* Loss of revenue or profits
* Emotional distress claims
* Replacement costs
Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific Services giving rise to the claim.
No claim may be brought more than one (1) year after the event.
Section 18 – Indemnification
Each party agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold the other harmless from claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from:
(a) Use of the Services
(b) Breach of these Terms
(c) Violation of applicable law
Section 19 – General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with your quote, constitute the full agreement between you and Crisp Clean Home.
Waiver
Failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations without our written consent.
Relationship
No employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship is created by these Terms.
Governing Law & Arbitration
These Terms are governed by the laws of Maryland (or another state at your request).
Except for payment-related disputes or false-review issues, all disputes must be resolved through binding arbitration via JAMS in Maryland.
The prevailing party is entitled to recover attorney fees and costs.
No Class Actions
All disputes must be resolved individually.
You waive the right to participate in class or representative actions.
Severability
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
Terms of Service for Crisp Clean Home SMS Messaging Program
Effective Date: 12/20/2025
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your participation in the SMS messaging program (the "Program") operated by Crisp Clean Home ("we," "us," or "our"). By opting in to the Program, you agree to these Terms.
1. SMS Program Description
By providing your consent and mobile phone number, you agree to receive recurring SMS text messages from us. The types of messages you may receive include, but are not limited to:
Appointment Reminders & Confirmations for cleaning services
Promotional Offers and Discounts on future cleanings
General Two-Way Customer Communication related to your inquiries or service details
Message frequency may vary depending on your interactions with us.
2. Opt-Out Instructions
You can cancel your participation in this SMS program at any time.
Just text "STOP" to the short code or phone number from which you receive our messages.
After you send the message "STOP" to us, we will send you a one-time reply message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed.
Following that confirmation, you will no longer receive any further SMS messages from this program.
To rejoin the program, you can opt-in again using the same method you did initially (e.g., a web form or by texting a keyword).

4. Message & Data Rates Disclosure
As always, message and data rates may apply to any SMS messages sent or received. The frequency of messages may vary. If you have any questions about your text or data plan, please contact your wireless service provider. You are solely responsible for any charges incurred from your mobile carrier.
5. Carrier Liability Disclaimer
Carriers (such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, etc.) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. While we strive for timely delivery, the delivery of SMS messages is dependent on the effective functioning of network operators' cellular networks and coverage, over which we have no control.
6. Age Restriction
By opting in to our SMS program, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are using the service on behalf of another person or entity, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.
7. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Any information you provide, including your mobile phone number and opt-in consent, will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
No Mobile Information Sharing: We do not share, sell, or rent your mobile information or text messaging originator opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories of personal information exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties for any purposes.

8. Indemnification & Compliance
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, fines, penalties, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Program, your violation of these Terms, or your failure to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. This includes any fines levied against us by a regulatory authority or carrier as a result of your actions.
